Wonderful little experiment. This is a perfect example of a game teaching its players how to play. To all the commenters begging for an obnoxious tutorial: that's not the point. If you spend 5 seconds playing you can pretty much figure it out. The challenge comes from trying different combinations of buttons--once you know this the game is nonexistent.
tldr: the game isn't about trying to 'win'. The fun part is learning how to play.

LOVE the artistic choices. The "2-bit" effect, combined with the lack of music and slow character movement makes the game really unsettling for some reason. A fun little experiment.

A little too easy. Beat every difficulty on every board within three attempts. Very easy to solve.

Review below me nailed it. No other reviews need to be written.

It took me about ten tries, but I finally figured out how to play this game. Mostly because I actually read the instructions. And to be honest, it's fun. The steam blasts got really irritating after a while because you're constantly trying to fix your valves while you wait for the capacitor to charge, and upgrading the valves does absolutely nothing. It's tedious as shit. The gameplay should have been focused on the upgrades, and strategically choosing which cities to attack, NOT mindlessly turning valves.

Best puzzle game I've ever played. I don't usually finish puzzle games because I find them boring as hell, but this one had me utterly enthralled. I think it's because each level was so different from every other level that I never had a chance to get bored. Each stage was a surprise.

Overdone.

Simply put, this concept has been done too many times before. I love the "MetroidVania" genre, but this one doesn't really stand out. It's too basic; there's nothing about it that sets it apart from the hundreds of other MetroidVania games. I would have easily given this game a 10 for graphics and music alone, but there was just too much "get the key so you can unlock the door to get another key".

I hate sliding puzzles.

Pretty fun way to waste five minutes.

Why all the hatin'?

Honestly, I don't see what all the fuss is about. The game is ridiculously easy (yes, I played it all the way through). The only problem I had with the game is that there's not really any motivation for the player unless he has incredible intrinsic motivation and a massive attention span.
All in all, a good game. Maybe a tad easy.

Abrubt Ending - Programming Error?

Ever since the creation of "Coma", you have always been one of my favorite flash artists, and I had high expectations for this game. My expectations were met as soon as I started playing; the game was immersive and compelling from the first screen.
There was, however, one problem with the game. As soon as I gave the fourth guy his batteries, the game just froze. Was this intentional, or just a programming error? If it was an error, please fix it, because I really want to finish the game.
Thanks.

I don't always herp. But when I do, I derp.
